Today, May 1st, we take to the streets in memory of the Chicago martyrs who were cruelly murdered, for demanding labor rights and better working conditions.
The Trump administration is the main enemy of workers, women, the LGBTQ community, Muslims, immigrants, and other minorities. It has cut resources from social programs that benefited those in need, in exchange, it has increased the military budget, war budget, that in no way benefits the majority but rather, weapons producers, the genocidal Zionist state of Israel, in addition to benefiting real estate companies and political allies.
The decrees he has implemented to date show that the attacks will continue. Although at the same time, massive mobilizations at the international level, and the defeats he’s been accumulating, show that it is possible to stop these attacks, stop the war and defeat Trump and his allies.
HOW TO DEAL WITH TRUMP’S ATTACKS?
We want to clarify that we do NOT have any confidence in the Democratic Party, since it also attacks immigrant communities and the working class in general, in addition to being pro war and intervention, and being silent while genocide on Palestine is committed. They have campaigned on legalization promises for nearly 40 years.
It is necessary to build a movement for struggle, independent of the politics and money from both corporate parties. Create a large national and international coalition to defeat the Trump administration.
We call on the youth to organize, for the union rank and file to pressure their leaderships to stop investing millions on corporate electoral campaigns, and instead use those resources to organize and defend the interests of working people and oppressed sectors.
We believe that the most effective way to defend and advance our rights is with organization and constant struggle; creating resistance committees in neighborhoods, schools, colleges, universities, workplaces, etc.
As workers, immigrants and community members , we put ourselves at the service of this organization and struggle process!
