The workers’, peasants’, and indigenous struggle for the resignation of President Paz Pereira continues. This is despite government threats, repression, the arrest of leaders, campaigns accusing indigenous peasants and workers of violating human rights due to the existence of the blockades, and calls from the most reactionary sectors for increased repression.
A great demonstration of the workers’ and people’s willingness to fight took place today with the great march from El Alto to La Paz, convened by the COB (Bolivian Workers’ Center) and FEDJUVE (Federation of Neighborhood Councils of El Alto).
Down with the Paz Pereira government!
For the COB to take power! For a workers’ and peasants’ government that breaks with the bourgeoisie and imperialism!
