Since the false «Peace Treaty» announced by Trump and supported by the vast majority of governments around the world, including the so-called «progressive» ones such as Lula, Boric, multiple «ceasefire» violations have been denounced. · ANSA Latina reported on 12/11/25, that: «According to the Gaza Government Press Office, Israel violated the ceasefire agreement in Gaza at least 738 times since its imposition in October. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israeli attacks since the beginning of the ceasefire have caused the death of at least 377 people and injured 987.» All this, again, with the complicit silence of the majority of governments and international press.
This false «peace treaty» caused great international expectation, including among the Palestinian people. The interruption of the bombardments, the return to the territory, the entry of humanitarian aid (although insufficient), and the release of almost two thousand Palestinian prisoners, mean great relief for people who have endured indescribable suffering.
Achieving the rescue of those hostages from the clutches of zionism, 250 with life imprisonment sentences, some of them imprisoned for 25 years already, speaks of the power of the Palestinian resistance, enormously strengthened by massive international solidarity. But as the data given by ANSA shows, the war is not over.
Trump’s Colonization Plan
Trump intervened by forcing Israel to accept a «ceasefire» and exchange of hostages, because under Netanyahu’s leadership, Israel was politically losing the war as evidenced by the increasing international isolation and, from the military point of view, did not achieve its objectives: to free the hostages and defeat Hamas.
Trump intervenes to achieve what Netanyahu failed to achieve and thus deepen the colonization. His colonization plan, disguised as a «peace treaty,» received the support of all the imperialist sectors and most of the governments of the world, including Lula’s, Boric’s, almost all the Arab regimes and even the Palestinian Authority.
That shows the true face of these governments, some claiming to be «friends» of the Palestinians and talking about genocide, while continuing diplomatic and economic relations with the genocide perpetrators.
All of them are supporting a false «peace plan» that aims to consolidate the occupation of Gaza by foreign troops, ending the minimum autonomy Gaza had for the past 18 years, despite the siege to which it was subdued by Israel. Whether Trump manages to impose it or not is another matter, but that is the objective.
There is also an interest in profiting from the destruction. Trump’s 20 points propose «an economic plan to rebuild Gaza, designed by experts who participated in the development of «miracle cities» in the Middle East and South Africa. Establish a special economic zone with preferential rates and access agreements negotiated with participating countries.
Confirming this last objective, one of the participants of the «peace» meetings in Egypt is Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, real estate entrepreneur and one of the ideologues of the «Middle East Riviera».
The second part of the «peace agreement» has to do with the demand for the disarmament of Hamas and its total withdrawal from the Gaza government. So far, correctly, Hamas has rejected the demand for disarmament and the imposition of a government controlled by foreign forces. We have many differences with Hamas, the main one being that it is a bourgeois organization and therefore not a solution to the total liberation of the Palestinian people. But it is not a terrorist organization as claimed by imperialists, most governments and the international press. Hamas, in addition to being the government elected by the people of Gaza, also leads the glorious armed resistance against the Israeli genocide. Its disarmament would mean the disarmament of the Palestinian resistance.
The massive actions of solidarity with Palestine, forced Trump to change tactics
Added to the heroic Palestinian resistance that, according to Zionist leaders, was putting Israel’s existence in danger, there were the permanent attacks of the Houthis, the large international solidarity mobilizations, unprecedented in history, which took place in the Asia, Africa, Europe, the United States, the two general strikes in Italy, the boycott of Greek and Italian dock workers, the global Sumud flotilla, the widespread repudiation of Israel in sporting and artistic events. All this began to create the danger of destabilizing the relationship with the Arab regimes and acted upon imperialist European governments. These governments, although didn’t take any concrete measures to stop the genocide, initiated a change in their discourses questioning Israel’s crimes, concluding with declarations of recognition of a Palestinian state, which, although doesn’t have any practical effect, led to political confrontation with the United States.
To achieve political unification with European imperialism, to stabilize the relationship with Arab regimes, and to protect Israel which was heading to disaster under Netanyahu’s leadership, Trump’s colonization project leaves aside «The Middle East Riviera» and takes the form of this false «peace treaty.»
The false two-state solution. There will be no peace as long as the state of Israel exists.
The permanent ethnic cleansing that has been going on since 1948, these two years of open genocide, broadcasted on television, with the complicit silence of the vast majority of governments and Israel’s ongoing ceasefire violations, show the impossibility of Trump’s promise to achieve «a political horizon of peaceful and prosperous coexistence.»
Also false is «two-state solution» defended by the U.N. and European governments. The two state proposal appeared with the unjust U.N. imposition of the partition of Palestine, which meant persecution, death, the exile of the native population. From its birth, the State of Israel had a colonialist and extermination objective, and it always had imperialist support because it is its armed wing in the Middle East. That is why it was never restrained in its criminal expansionist policies, not only on Palestine but on the entire region.
In addition, there is no chance for the two states because the Palestinian exiles could not return, since their land, homes, schools, hospitals, are in the hands of those who expelled them. This shows that the Israeli population is colonialist as a whole, with very few noteworthy exceptions such as Ilan Pappé, who have been confronting that colonialism and are persecuted and have to go into exile.
The only way to achieve peace is with the destruction of the zionist, nazi-fascist state, replaced by a single, democratic, secular, non-racist Palestinian state, where all religions can coexist, Muslims, Jews, Christians and those who have no religion.
This goal can only be achieved with a great revolutionary war of the Arab peoples, led by the Palestinians and with the support of the working class and the peoples of the world. It is a long and difficult task, but not impossible. The proof is that, the heroic Palestinian resistance and massive international support, caused the isolation of Israel, which, as many Zionist leaders said, was putting at risk the existence of Israel itself.
The democratic revolution against the state of Israel and Arab dictatorships, to the extent that in this process a revolutionary workers’ leadership is built, will be able to advance towards the triumph of the socialist revolution in the region.
